EnergyLink, Limited is a company located in Wellington, New Zealand. I’m not quite sure how they found me, but this was a great team of people to work with. Now, I did not do the design for this site. In fact, Scott over at usable! handled the design for the site, but he needed someone to “WordPress it out.” He knew what he wanted, but he wasn’t quite sure how to pull it off – so he found me.

The most interesting part of the project (aside from figuring out a cool dynamic stylesheet in getting the menus to function exactly how we wanted) was working with WP e-Commerce. These guys do seminars on their subject, and wanted to have online ordering available – so companies could go online and buy “tickets” for their employees to attends. However, they also only wanted registered members to the site (i.e. people who had gone to seminars before) to have access to certain areas of the site, so they could keep up with their accounts and have access to some special deals. It was a challenge, for sure – but totally worth it.

Speaking of challenges – working with a group of clients who lived and worked in New Zealand was definitely one for sure. With a 14-hour time difference, it sure made for some late nights and interesting conversations!
